ABOUT THE DUNGEON MASTER

Jared is a resident of Connecticut and has been playing tabletop RPGs since 2016, beginning with Dungeons & Dragons. As an actor and playwright, Jared has a gift for creative writing and storytelling. He has been writing plays and stories since he was in high school and has made a professional career out of it. He was drawn to the magic of Dungeons and Dragons after one of his college roommates introduced him to the popular D&D Twitch stream, Critical Role- a long running D&D stream played by professional voice actors. Being a nerd throughout his life, the idea of fantasy adventure was second nature to him, and he took to Dungeon and Dragons immediately.
 

After only two sessions as a player, the crossroads of storytelling, performance, and D&D was a no brainier to him, so he jumped into the game master seat and created a world that he calls Etterea to immerse his siblings in. Utilizing his creative talents, Jared creates his own adventures from the ground up, rather than running pre-made adventures. This allows him to craft the story for the players, highlighting different aspects of D&D- such as combat, social interaction, and roleplay- to fit what the players want: whether that is a feel-good story of glory through entertaining dungeon crawls or monster hunts, to more serious challenges that require great cooperation and teamwork to solve difficult puzzles or navigate political intrigue. After that, he began to branch off into other RPG systems, such as Call of Cthulhu and Monsterhearts 2; drawn in by their unique gameplay and the promise of endless creativity.
 

Regardless of your level of experience, Jared is the GM for you. He has taught dozens of people how to play various systems and can introduce newcomers into the immersive world of tabletop gaming with ease and comfort. Tabletop RPGs are no longer games for social recluses or closeted nerds; it's a global phenomenon that everyone can enjoy, and Jared wants to be a part of your journey.
